Episode 1: The Tavern

Nicholas walked into the tavern, his cloak tightly pulled around him. His cloak was stained with the ocean spray, having just completed another one of his routine pirate hunts, he approached a table and sat down, throwing the hood off his head, allowing his hair to flop down a bit, matted together from a combination of the rain outside and his ocean trip. He motioned a serving wench over to him, who recoginzed him and asked, "The usual?" Nick nodded his head, and she went out back to retreave his order, leaveing Nicholas there alone watching the evenings patrons.

It was still early in the evening, so not many of the usuals were in, but just about everyone knew about Nick's return. It wasn't long before a crowd had gathered around him, hopeing to hear his tales of intrigue, He weaved a grand tale of his adventure, though it wasn't long before he wanted to take a break, and he fought his way thought the growing crowd within the tavern, and made his ways out one of the side doors. He brushed some of his hair out of his view, and stood under the protective shelter of the porch ceiling. A second figure made it's way outside the tavern, smaller then Nick, and stood beside him. Nick's stern gaze into the thain streets turned quickly into a smile as his brilliant yellow eyes met the figure's blue eyes, his Elizabeth.

While Neo was drenched and in a traveller's cloak, hideing most of his features, Liz wore her normal genre of clothing, revealing her small female frame, not typical of a warrior, her eyes showing youthful luster, and the frail ego of immoratlity that only one that had never taken the life of a fellow human, or seen anyone die for that matter, could have. Her head was covered in brown hair, showing the features that one would expect from someone of her family's standing in society. But what stuck out most profoundly on Liz, was the gem encrested slender shortsword she kept sheathed around her waist. Obviouslly not ment for any real fight, it did ward off most ruffians, showing her to be high standing within the community.
"NICKY!" Elizabeth exclaimed, wrapping her arms around Nick, almost catching him off guard as she jumped up into his waiting arms, she smile warmly slipping him a kiss on his lips.
Nick smiled back, and returned the kiss, "I missed you dearest."
"I missed you too," Liz replied, "Let's go to your place so we can talk about your grand adventures.
Nick nodded and unfastened his strap that held his warhammer on his back, along with his traveling pack so that he could remove his traveling cloak and place it upon Liz to keep her warm and dry. She smiled, even though the cloak was a bit to big for her, but it would do. With his cloak removed, Liz took in all of Nick's features. His body was fine tuned, slender muscles complementings his fit frame. In addition to his warhammer, Nick kept a small dirk fastened in his left sheath, enchanted with powers only he knew. On his right hip he kept a sharp sword deemed slicer, for it's extrodinary ability to cut through just about any material.
While he was trained quite well in the warrior art's, his true strength came from his studys in arcane lore. More then one pirate had found himself gaining ground on Nicholas, only to have a fireball dropped on his head, or an energy beam blasted in his face...
